Chloe Loftus Dance
For over a decade, Chloe Loftus Dance have been creating vibrant choreographic work that has toured extensively to critical acclaim. Specialising in outdoor and pop-up performances and engaging new audiences to dance theatre, the company has been Associate Artist / Dance Buddy at the Wales Millennium Centre and in 2013 were nominated for a Theatre Critics of Wales Award for Best Small Scale Dance Production.
Following winning Welsh Independent Dance’s choreographic competition Dance Bytes in 2008, the company have created numerous works with funding from Arts Council of Wales, PRSF and the Kevin Spacey Foundation and commissions including Dance Shorts, 1square Mile, Wales Millennium Centre, National Eisteddfod, Articulture Wales, Olympic projects and numerous music and arts festivals across the UK and New Zealand.
Chloe Loftus Dance creates physically vibrant and accessible high quality performances. Highly physical contact and aerial work, casting an anthropological eye over the world that we live in, character idiosyncrasies and attracting new audiences to contemporary dance are key inspirations in the work.
